Hoath, Mr Richard W. ( Dick )
Suddenly at his residence in Thessalon on Thursday, June 19, 2008. Dick Hoath in his 81st year, beloved husband of Margaret Hoath. Loving father of Carole Anne Parnell
( Jim ) of Carp and Barbara Hoath of Oro Station. Special grandfather of Clinton and Amy Parnell, Andrea Wallette and Rachel Cazabon. Dear brother of Jean Johnston ( Bert ) of Thessalon and Clifford Hoath ( Barb ) of Calgary. Dear son of the late Richard and Margaret Hoath. Dear brother-in-law of George Rivard ( late Mayme ) of Timmins, Henry “Bud” Rivard ( Elsie ) of Sault Ste. Marie, Nora Rivers ( Bill ) of Brechin and the late Harvey Rivard ( late Mollie ), Delia McLeod ( late Claude ) and Irene Masters ( late Tom ). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home Thessalon where friends may call on Sunday June 22, 2008 from 7:15pm to 9pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Monday June 23 at 10 o'clock. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Zion United Church Memorial Fund gratefully accepted.

McColman, Mr Kenneth Harvey January 21, 1919 - June 22, 2008
Born, raised, lived and died in his little town of Thessalon, Ontario. Son of the late Capt. James and Freida ( nee Oetting ) McColman. Survived by his wife of 66 years Rita ( nee Moreau ); son Kenneth of St Thomas, Ontario; daughter Victoria and son-in-law Harold Shaw of Thessalon; sister Bertha ( Birdie ) Lewis ( late Stubbie ) and brother David ( Bunny ) and Noreen McColman all of Thessalon. Grandchildren: Andrew and Bobbi-Jo McColman and children - Paige, Walker and Sierra; Kenneth ( Kasiy ) and Patty Shaw and children - Brysin and Ashton; Harold and Marie Shaw and children - Nathan, Justin and Bailey; Gregory and Deanna Shaw; Richard and Sue Shaw and children Michael Shaw and Reilly, Conor and Keegan Evoy; Wendell and Shelly Gustavson and daughter - Grace; Freida and Alain Labelle and daughter - Dana; Hilary and Kyle Stewart and children - Michaela, Cole and Caden; Heather McColman, Steven McColman; Thomas and Erin McColman and daughter-in-law Evelyn and George Lavoie. Brothers and sisters-in-law - Armand Moreau, Lucien Moreau, Leo and Katie Moreau, Jeanette and Ed Williamson and Gary and Neda Moreau. Predeceased by his oldest son Jimmy McColman ( 1992 ); grandson Billy McColman ( 1975 ); brothers James, Woodrow and Sherlock ( late Shirley ); sisters Eve Turner ( late Stewart ); Ardell Frost ( late Larry ); Marie McColman; Jean McColman and Margaret Anderson ( Boxer ). Brothers-in-law Antonio, Raoul ( Mex ), Raymond, Lionel, and Fernand. As per Ken's wishes there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place and a “Celebration of Ken's Life” will take place in early August. Donations in memory of Ken may be made to the Thessalon Hospital Auxiliary as everyone of the Doctors, Nurses and Nurses Aides of our hospital took sure loving care of him throughout his long battle with heart disease
